Its almost an year Windows 7 has been released, but there are many of them who have no idea how to configure and install themes in Windows 7.

Here is a tutorial to install themes in windows 7.

Tools Required :

• Universal Theme Patcher.

Installing Universal Theme Patcher :

There are two versions of Universal Theme Patcher (x86, x64), Install the respective file corresponding to your computer’s configuration.

Run the file, click on the button “Patch” for all the 3 files, themeservice.dll, themeui.dll and uxtheme.dll, then the application prompts for reboot, reboot the system.

Installing Themes :

After rebooting the system make sure you download some  themes for Windows 7, I recommend to download themes from Deviantart.com, the Digital Art community.

Copy the downloaded files to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

After copying the files to the theme folder, go to personalize and check for “Installed Themes”, click on the theme to install it.
